Discovery Classes
Discovery classes are a great way to grow in the Lord, learn about this church, and have a chance to ask questions. Each class is about two hours long, and meets on Sunday afternoons. Each class is offered throughout the year, a one per month. Contact the pastor if you would like to request a class.
101. Basics for New Believers – The Way of Christ
This class focuses on helping believers learn the fundamentals that every believer needs to master; the teachings of Jesus which are essential for a long and happy Christian life.

102. Knowing God through Baptism
This class is especially designed for believers new to faith in Christ. Covers: the meaning of Salvation, and prepares for the celebration of water baptism.
103. Deeper in the Spirit This class prepares you to understand and seek the Lord as a Trinity. Covers: The relationship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the "baptism" in the Holy Spirit, introduction to the spiritual gifts, and living in the flow of the Spirit. 104. The River Vision This class gives you a chance to meet with Pastor Tyler and hear first hand about the church vision of the River's Edge. Covers: The Vision, purpose, our outreach "game plan", and an overview of the church ministries. This class will help you discover places that you would best fit in becoming part of the church team. 105. Jump in to Membership This class explores how you can "jump in" to church membership. Covers: the process of becoming a member, the church beliefs and membership responsibilities, finding your place in ministry, and our church plan for getting along together as a unified body.
